New Commercial Registrations for GVW 3-8 vehicles for the 2009 Calendar Year were
312,400 units, down 36.8% from the 2008 Calendar Year. The 2009 Calendar Year
represents the lowest total for New Registrations in a Calendar Year since Polk started
keeping commercial records in the 1985 Calendar Year.
